This shipping policy explains how Shantilal & Co. (doing business as “Special Meds”) operates its shipping procedures and how we strive to meet your expectations with every order. Whether you are a first-time buyer or a returning customer, we want to ensure that your experience with us is smooth and satisfactory, right from placing your order to the moment it arrives at your doorstep.

1. Delivery Coverage

·       We deliver medicines across 19,000+ pin codes in India, subject to courier service availability.

·       In cases of remote or unserviceable areas, we will notify you promptly and explore alternate delivery solutions.

2. Delivery Timelines

·       Standard Delivery: Orders are typically delivered within 3-5 business days, depending on the location.

·       Express Delivery: Available for select regions, ensuring delivery within 2-3 business days (additional charges apply).

·       Delivery times may vary due to external factors like weather, government restrictions or courier delays.

Express Shipping: Charges calculated based on the delivery location and urgency of the shipment.

Cold Chain/Temperature Controlled Products: Charges calculated based on the delivery location and net weight of the package (including cold-chain packaging)

4. Prescription Verification
Prescription medicines require a valid doctor’s prescription before dispatch. Orders without valid prescriptions will not be processed.

5. Packaging Standards

·       All medicines are securely packaged to maintain quality and safety during transit.

·       Temperature-sensitive medicines are shipped with cold-chain solutions where required.

6. Order Tracking

·       Once your order is shipped, a tracking ID will be shared via SMS/email to track your package in real-time.

7. Delivery Attempts

·       Our order deliveries are powered and supported by 3rd party courier partners. The delivery partner will attempt order delivery twice. If unsuccessful, the package will be returned, and the customer may need to reorder. Undelivered orders returned to our warehouse would be further processed for refund as per our Refund Policy.

8. Delivery Issues

·       If your package is delayed, damaged or lost in transit, please contact our customer support team within 48 hours of the expected delivery date.

·       We will coordinate with the courier service to resolve the issue and keep you updated throughout the process.

9. Restrictions

·       Delivery of certain medicines may be restricted in some regions due to local laws or regulations.

·       We do not facilitate the sale of any controlled substances or narcotic drugs.
